Recently we finshed the project where we obtained the Hungarian residence permit by the citizen of Belarus under the National Card program.

The whole process took around 3 months and was not accompanied by additional requests from the Embassy. This programm became accessible for citizens of Belarus and Russian Federation in 2024, where if you have a job offer – you are eligible to to relocate to Hungary and receive residence permit easily. Another benefit is that you may take the permanent residence permit in three years after you receive your residence permit and it does not have any language requirement.

Our client received a job offer from the IT company located in Budapest. Than, we launched the process of documents submission to the Hungarian embassy. Required documents are:

• Passport
• Criminal record (shall be apostiled and not older than 3 months)
• Diploma
• Bank account statement for the last year with the funds placed in amount of at least 10 000 EUR
• Photo (3.5×4.5)
• Employment agreement
• Commitment to leave Hungary after the RP expires
• Rent agreement
• Medical insurance

We submitted all the document to the Hungarian embassy in Minsk on 20th of Decemeber and visa was received on 3rd of March. Afterwards, our client received his RP card directly on the postal addres in Budapest. Also, we finished all the HR processes within the company.

This program is not only giving an opportunity to reside and work in Hungary, but also allows you to travel within the Schengen area. Receiving a permanent residence permit in 3 years is just one of the fastest roads to receive PRP in Europe.
